After finishing my first career in Swimming for Great Britain, I naturally moved into the fitness industry where I enjoyed a 10 year career. Working through many roles, with the Private Health Club Sector, I finally found the roles I enjoyed most all involved selling! After a year off to bring up my son I moved into a private Members Golf Club where I enjoyed 7 years in business development and changing the shape and outlook of a small club. Now I am proud to say that I work for Merlin Entertainments at LEGOLAND Windsor as VIP and Sponsorship Sales Manager. Here I am able to sell to both customers and business directly. This role allows me to draw on the different skills I have learnt over my career and being a mum of two definitely helps me understand my market and guests on a completely different level!

I have ten years experience in the Financial Services industry with strengths in business development & strategy, project management, as well as team building and mentoring. I have spent ten years at Bloomberg starting as an Intern, progressing to a Global Data Analyst, Team Leader and four years ago moving across to Account Management. With a consultative approach, I identify our clients' needs and demonstrate how Bloomberg solutions will help them make the best investment/trading decisions, by making their day to day business smoother and more profitable. I am responsible for building new business and developing existing business.

I graduated with a Double Degree from UWE Business School and The Berlin School of Economics where I spent one year as part of my four year course.

I am passionate about women’s progression in business and getting more women into technology and finance careers. I spent a number of years running our in house Internship programme and through that have enjoyed mentoring and coaching Interns.

I'm extremely interested in health and wellbeing, having trained as Reflexologist a number of years ago, am a keen runner and interested in pescatarian cookery.


 


Lisa Katharina Tucek

Lisa works in customer account management support across different sales teams and products at Bloomberg LP and focuses on issues related to bridging gaps between departments, managing large client projects, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and the clients' experience. The role requires to act as an indispensable business partner to Sales and clients, providing advisory and support to Bloomberg's Sales force.

Prior to this, she worked in our Customer Support team, where she was responsible for all German speakers of our frontline client support. This experience also allowed her to work with our internal innovations team where Lisa managed to drive initiatives for our mobile app and internal workflows.

Lisa studied Hospitality Management with Real Estate Finance and Revenue Management at the Glion Institute of Higher Education. There she had been recognised as Top10 student by the "Eta Sigma Delta Honor Society" and nominated with Best Dissertation and The Glion Spirit Award in recognition of her high level of scholarship, attitude and dedication.

Shauna is an extremely ambitious recent International Business Graduate, and has a wealth of international experience from her time studying in Australia, France, Germany and China, and working in the USA, The Netherlands and The UK.

She has a passion for sales, which started during her Secondary School years, setting up various small businesses both inside and outside of school. Her progression has led her to work for a Silicon Valley based technology company in Inside Sales, where she can demonstrate her drive, enthusiasm and passion to succeed in International Business.

Outside of the office, Shauna enjoys attending various events, recently attending a Women In Technology event hosted by The Guardian at Skype HQ London, is part of a Graduate Lean In Circle (Sheryl Sandberg Organisation), and was a participant at a TEDx Event in 2015, where she gave a speech on 'Making Your Own Luck'.

Instrumental in launching and driving the UK&I digital strategy in MasterCard. In 2015, I was one of the key pillars in the UK market launch of our tokenisation technology and Apple Pay, one of the biggest developments in the industry since chip and pin. Identified as high potential within the company, I was chosen as one of 12 worldwide candidates to take part in the inaugural early career talent rotation programme. I am currently consulting in Mexico City, advising on the digital strategy of our customers in the market and providing internal digital training programmes to colleagues. Passionate for equality, I coordinated a personal development programme for our Women's Leadership Network for over 40 members of our network. As part of the PRIDE group launch committee in Mexico, I work to remove barriers, stereotypes and stigmas, enabling acceptance both internally and externally. I managed MasterCard's relationship with Poplar Food Bank driving financial inclusion through volunteering and donations. Part of Girl4Tech, I am a STEM ambassador encouraging future talent to pursue STEM subjects.

Elizabeth has been working in Government Affairs at Bloomberg L.P. since 2013. In this role, she is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with government and regulatory agencies throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Previously she served as a Legislative Affairs Representative for Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems. She also worked for the United States House of Repsentatives and the House of Lords in the UK  Parliament. She received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Asministration from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Brand representative for diversity and inclusion for Real Staffing, a trading division of SThree. Mary joined SThree as one of the youngest employees at the age of 20 with the view to making a difference for women in business and within the Life Science industry. She threw herself into the role and she is consistently performing as a role model and as an outstanding achiever in Real Staffing.

·         Number 1 female biller worldwide in the Pharma sector
·         Top billing female in the UK & Ireland, performance over the past 3 years
·         She has given industry interviews within the market that she recruits within which have also featured within TOPRA
·         Holds 2 records for the highest value deal within Pharmaceuticals, Most deals in one year on the Pharma UK team

Outside of her normal day to day job, she has delivered one of the highest number of training sessions and has supported other teams within SThree, including flying to Frankfurt to help train the Pharma team, and also delivering a Road Show in Europe and the UK with Board directors to help implement the contract strategy, which she has consistently championed across the UK since the roll out, whilst also offering to train other offices in the UK, including Birmingham, Leeds and the City office

Externally, she has done three skydives for charity, and this year used her annual leave to volunteer in Lesvos at a refugee camp for 2 weeks. This was an experience that profoundly affected her and in the first week upon her return she raised £2000 for the cause. She is due to go to Calais in a few weeks. She has just started training towards rowing the Atlantic next year. Mary is an avid believer that there is no such thing as a limitation, and that anything is possible with resilience and a positive mind set.

I left school at 17 as I decided I liked the idea of earning my own money and had worked since I was 14 in various part time roles. After a successful 6 years working for a large Health Club brand I decided it was time for a career change.. it was time to get my 'grown up' job. I made the move in to recruitment and joined Real Staffing, a trading division of SThree as I needed a new challenge but ‘sales’ was all I knew! Since I started I haven’t looked back and have been very lucky to work with some amazing people within a fantastic company. Whilst my time at Real Staffing hasn’t always been easy, I wouldn’t change it for the world and anyone male or female looking to get in to a corporate environment shouldn’t hesitate!
