Film maker | Frog & Roast Beef Films

I  was born in France in 1986 and raised in Morocco. I started to work in Journalism after my studies at the CEU Cardenal Herrera (Alicante) in Spain, and became specialized in investigations and reports about current affairs, political conflicts and social issues. Back to Casablanca I worked for the newspapers L’Economiste and the monthly magazine Perspectives Med. I also worked for websites and magazines such as which is specialized in culture and entertainment. I became correspondent for a news TV channel when I arrived in the UK and progressively started to work into the film industry after undertaking an MA in Digital film. I produced, wrote and directed my first film, ‘Ownership Rules’ between 2011 and 2012 and I am currently working on a documentary about Feminism and Antifeminism called ‘ the trouble with the F word’. A part from my production experience, I am really involved with the Moroccan community, I was a petitioner at the UN on the question of Western Sahara and I am a trustee of the charity Al Hasaniya which deals with issues confronted by Arab Women.
